Aqualogic Case Study

Problem:

Aqualogic, a storm water abatement filtration company was looking to upgrade their control system adding new features, including remote monitoring.  Aqualogic’s legacy systems did not have the remote sensing capability, therefore when a rain event occurred, they were forced to send a tech to each location to verify that the system was working properly.

Solution:

Intercon implemented the new system with the Proton Wireless controller, powered by a solar panel and battery backup.  The Proton provided the I/O’s needed to control the pumps and valves while providing feedback from the various sensors within the system.

Results:

With the addition of the wireless capability, Aqualogic was able to perform remote diagnostics on each system.  This allowed them to save money on gas, labor and potential Government fines.  With the added flexibility of the Proton Wireless controller, Aqualogic was able to customize the rain event cycles per system installed.

Aquasol Case Study

Problem:

Aquasol Controllers, Inc. had an installed base of remote sensing systems based on the Creatalink modems utilizing the Reflexä data network.  Aquasol was finding it increasingly difficult to purchase new modems and were also finding that coverage for the installed base was quickly disappearing. Aquasol decided to halt all new sales of the remote control monitors until a cost effective and reliable solution could be found.

Solution:

Aquasol used a combination of the Electron Wireless controller along with the Gluon server application to provide a drop in replacement for the Creatalink modem.  This solution moved their existing installed base from the Reflexä data network to the Mobitex data network and required little development effort from their internal team.

Results:

Aquasol was able to “save” their existing customer base at the same time, expanded the option to their new line of Pool Controllers.
